Service could definitely improve, but the food is amazing. The black and blue burger is my favorite entree and I've never had Buffalo wings as good as Foster's! Between the live music, outdoor activities, craft beer, and fantastic food, Foster's is one of my favorite restaurants.
This place used to be great but lately the service has been terrible! I could see maybe having an "off" day once in a while but the last 3 times I went were really bad almost embarrassing! Once I went in and it took the waitress a full 15 minutes to acknowledge us. She walked past us several times without even a hello or I'll be with you in a sec. And there was only 1 other table there and they already had their food! She kept checking in on them and passing us right by. Same thing happened to us the next time plus when our food was done it sat on the window for at least 10 minutes while she wiped down the bar. The final straw was one Sunday when we had a special guest with us. Again it took forever before they could order , the food was cold from sitting in the window for so long , they didn't have the proper change , and to top it off the waitress ,who also worked the register, had the audacity to ASK if she could keep the change !!!
Since the change came to less than the tip they left on the table my friend said sure and promptly went back and retrieved the tip she left. I'd LOVE to go back,the food is good but unless the wait staff is either re- trained or replaced I will not be back. We have a lot of out of town guests that we used to bring here but it has become increasingly more embarrassing to bring them here.
We love Fosters! Best selection of beer around. Great food, fun atmosphere for both adults and children.
Food was great, Kiki (our server) was great, and the bathrooms were super clean! So was the restaurant. I would give this place 5 stars, but I'm going to have to deduct one for having to constantly wave flies away. If we sat in the interior of the restaurant instead of the veranda area, we wouldn't have fought them so much.
Horrible service, waited forever to even get drinks.. We finally got to order our food, which they also took their sweet time getting it to us, we gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking their making the food fresh, but that wasn't the case.. The food looked like it had been under a heat lamp for a few hours then taken out from under the heat lamp and just sat. Our food was cold and the drinks tasted like they have not cleaned the fountain drink machine in a while.... Sitting at the table, flies are swarming us and constantly landing on ourselves and the food. Not to mention the hair that WAS NOT MINE found in MY food.... The service was the absolute worst I've ever had, our waiter was rude and irritated at us for pointing out the LONG DARK HAIR in my food.... I'm blonde so it was clearly not my hair! If I could I wouldn't even leave a star. Don't waste your money, you'd get better service at McDonald's and that's saying something..
